Amelia Andersdotter

Amelia Andersdotter zieht demnächst ins Europaparlament ein. Sie besucht das net culture und coworking lab bei der Dreijahresfeier diesen Freitag abend.

Die Piratenparteien streben einen freien Wissensaustausch an, eine Reformierung des Urheber- und Patentrechts, besseren Datenschutz und mehr Informationsfreiheit. Bei der Europawahl 2009 erreichte die Schwedische Piratpartiet mit 7,1 Prozent der schwedischen Wählerstimmen zunächst einen Sitz, nach der Vergrößerung des Parlaments durch die Ratifizierung des Vertrags von Lissabon einen zweiten Sitz im Europaparlament. Diesen wird Amelia Andersdotter einnehmen.

Die Piratenpartei wurde von zahlreichen Medien fälschlich mit dem BitTorrent-Tracker The Pirate Bay gleichgesetzt. Sie spricht gezielt Jugendliche an, die mit dem herkömmlichen Urheberrecht nicht klar kommen. Die Piratenpartei vertritt die Meinung, dass der eigentliche Mehrwert im Austausch von Musik oder Filmen besteht. Damit liegt sie ziemlich nahe an den Grundideen von Creative Commons oder der GNU Public License. Diese liessen eine neue Kultur des Umgangs mit Content und neue Geschäftsmodelle entstehen.

Eric wird am Freitag abend mit Amelia ein öffentliches Interview führen. Sie hat weiters Interesse daran bekundet, mehr über Open Hardware lernen zu wollen. Dazu wollen wir im Lab noch einen Workshop organisieren. Wer hat Lust, dabei zu sein?

Das net culture lab Dornbirn wurde 2007 als Treffpunkt der digitalen Szene konzipiert und begleitete 2008 Projekte, Ideen und Firmengründungen.
2009 etablierten die Nutzer mit dem Coworking Lab ein neues Bürokonzept für Mikrounternehmen, die nicht nur Raum, Drucker und Kaffeemaschine teilen, sondern auch einige Projekte gemeinsam umsetzen und nebenbei ziemlich viel Spass miteinander haben. Dazu wollen wir gerne einen Einblick geben und den dreijährigen Bestand feiern.

TOKENS
Inspired by alternative currency systems like Freigeld, we want to experiment on alternative rewarding- and motivation mechanisms by means of exchanging tokens between participants of Enable! At registration, you will receive tokens which have a real value in Euros. You can then award the most interesting input(s) by handing over all or parts of the tokens to the person(s) generating the input. Finally, these tokens can be converted back into real Euros at the end of the convention. A little game, which may cause that collaboration efforts will be rewarded visible and maybe you are the one, who can change reputative capital into some real Euros at the end (and buy a
coffee or make holiday).
