Our special guest is Jaromil (www.dyne.org) and Mr Groil. We will be working mainly on the beTV project and will have sessions for StreamOnTheFly. You are welcome to make further suggestions.

11 Oct 20h: beTV presentation at the official opening ceremony (starts at 18h)
12 Oct 11h: beTV closing meeting
Depending on the weather, we’ll go hiking to Rappenlochschlucht at one of

Sie produzierten dort das Making Of zu dem ersten Animationsfilm, der mit Open Source Komponenten realisiert worden ist und dessen Komponenten Creative Commons lizensiert sind.

Wir zeigen in Dornbirn zur Open Lab Night am Donnerstag den 26.9. ab 21 Uhr
den 11-minütigen Kurzfilm, das Making Of und erhalten einen Live - Bericht vom Paktikum, wie sie Produzenten und Künstler interviewten.

“Some Fellows in Austria celebrated the Software Freedom Day by making themselves visible at public places and informing about Free Software, FSFE and the Fellowship.

I did this in Dornbirn, together with a few other people from different organisations (like Wikipedia). It was quite nice and we had some good conversations with interested passersby.

Eric Poscher from the net.culture.lab, who has actually organised the whole thing, has put some pictures online. …

In 2-tägigen Seminaren erlernen die Teilnehmerinnen Instrumente zur erfolgreichen EU-Projektentwicklung und Antragsstellung. Sie werden dabei unterstützt, das Erlernte in einen praktischen Bezug zur eigenen Forschungsarbeit bzw. Technologieentwicklung zu stellen und in die Projektentwicklung zu implementieren. Das genaue Programm ist hier (PDF) zu finden. Da die Teilnehmerinnenzahl auf max. 30 begrenzt ist, ist eine Bewerbung erforderlich (Bis 29-09-07 an schwinghammer@science2public.at).

In Dornbirn wird in der EuropaPassage am Marktplatz wird von 10-14 Uhr Freie Software gezeigt, mit der man Fotos verwalten, Musik hören, Dokumente gestalten kann und und und - denn mit freier Software kann man (fast) alles machen! Wer fragen hat, kann sich individuell beraten lassen!

In Wien im Museumsquartier werden die Fellows der FreeSoftwareFoundation Europe einen sit-in veranstalten und demonstrieren wie man freie Software schreibt.

Die beiden Orte werden mit Wengophone miteinander verbunden sein - ebenfalls Freie Software und eine gute Alternative zu Skype.
